Guy Nuyts is currently Senior Director, Global Pricing at Janssen Pharmaceutical, a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson. His responsibilities focus on pricing and reimbursement policies for the infectious diseases, vaccines, neuroscience and global public health portfolio. Throughout his 20 year plus career, he had different roles of increasing responsibility in health economics, pricing, real world evidence and market access, and this across several different therapeutic areas such as Pain, Gastrointestinal, Oncology and Infectious Diseases. He also collaborated on several organisational redesign and improvement projects to better integrate market access and pricing functions and to align with other business functions. Between 2001 and 2008, he lived and worked in NJ, US for Johnson and Johnson. Prior to Janssen, he worked as a research assistant at the University of Antwerp, as clinical research assistant for Vestar Inc and as health economics consultant with the Lewin Group. He has a Masters degree in Sociology from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium and a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Antwerp, Belgium and several publications in epidemiology and health economics in peer reviewed journals.
